Technical Board
Initially products are being developed with specific manufacturers who are the experts in their own field. The business model involves close collaboration between the product developer and ERT. At this stage the need for external agency involvement (such as a University or the Building Research Establishment) is seen as being modest.
However if there is demand for more technically challenging innovation, for example involving cross industry applications, then ERT will facilitate the appropriate cross industry and cross academia dialogue.
One method to achieve the appropriate cross industry and cross academia dialogue is via a Technical Board comprising a mix of leading industry and academic figures.
The concept of a technical board is at present open. However preliminary discussions have been held with individuals who are senior members of one or more of the organisations below about the concept of being invited to join such a board.
