The award was jointly presented by Dr Peter Bonfield, Chief
Executive of the BRE and sustainability advisor to the Olympic Delivery
Authority and Tim Smit CBE, founder of the Eden Project. Andrew Kinsey of the
Sustainability Group of Bovis Lend Lease received the award. It recognises the
achievement of Bovis Lend Lease in helping to develop the product with ERT and
St. David's Partnership (Land Securities/Capital Shopping Centres). In the final
paragraph of the award report (see pdf file below) the Judges were said to be "impressed by the innovative
and practical work between client, developer and manufacturer and believe RePlas
has the potential to create a big market."
